The service

Limina is an independent mobile reader for Backrooms fiction hosted by third parties, with account synchronization, local downloads, and article discussions. It is not an official Fandom application and is not endorsed by source contributors. New articles and online services require an internet connection. Features, availability, and source content can change.

The archive contains fictional horror and potentially disturbing themes. The intended audience is readers aged 16 and older. Follow the applicable store age restrictions and the minimum age and consent requirements that apply where you live. Fictional descriptions are not real-world safety advice.

Your account and information

You can read using an anonymous account. Posting and replying require a registered Google or Apple account. Use an identity you are authorized to use, protect your provider account, and do not impersonate another person. Anonymous identities may become inaccessible if the app is removed or its local data is lost before a provider is linked.

The privacy policy explains account data, public discussions, synchronization, advertising, and local storage. You can delete your account in Settings or follow the external deletion process. Keep a copy of exported data you want to retain.

Articles, media, and software

Limina provides a filtered reading edition. Matched profanity is masked, and explicit graphic passages may be omitted. Ordinary horror descriptions remain readable. Sensitive images are hidden behind an 18+ warning; you may choose Show anyway for an individual image and Hide image afterward. This warning is not verified age assurance. We identify omissions; the original contributor work remains on its source host. An entry with no remaining reading content is unavailable. Filtering also applies to saved copies, search previews, and offline reading. Omitted text cannot be revealed in the app. The image choice applies only to the current article view and is not saved as a global preference. Use Report content to report an unsafe item or an incorrect omission.

Source articles, images, and other third-party materials remain subject to their own credits and licenses. Limina preserves source and licensing information; downloading an entry does not remove those obligations or transfer ownership. Follow the specific source license before redistributing or adapting content. Report missing credits or rights concerns to akfdev22@gmail.com with the source link and relevant details.

Limina's application software, original branding, and bundled third-party software have their own applicable rights and licenses. Font and software licenses are available in the app. Do not misuse service credentials, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, evade moderation controls, or use the app for unlawful conduct.

Discussion participation

Before posting, replying, or editing, you must explicitly accept these terms and the community guidelines. We store the accepted policy version and time privately with your account. An updated version requires renewed acceptance.

Follow the community guidelines. Harassment, hate, threats, exploitation, illegal material, spam, and disclosure of others' private information are prohibited. Only post material you are entitled to share. Comments and chosen reader names are public.

You retain any rights you hold in your comments. Posting permits keinetic to store, display, and process them as needed to provide discussions and moderation. This does not transfer article copyrights or grant other users a separate license to your work. You can edit or delete your own comments; a deleted-comment placeholder may remain to preserve replies, as described in the privacy policy.

Content that violates these rules may be removed and abusive accounts may be restricted. Use the in-app Report and Block reader controls, or email akfdev22@gmail.com. Blocking changes what you see; it does not automatically remove content for everyone.

Availability and changes

Limina depends on external source, identity, cloud, and advertising providers. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, complete source coverage, or compatibility with every source template. Avoid relying on the app as your only copy of important personal records. These terms do not remove any consumer or data-protection rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
