LIMINA / YOUR DATA

Delete your account
and data

You can delete your Limina account in the app or request deletion by email, including after uninstalling the app.

Request deletion without the app

Email akfdev22@gmail.com with the subject Limina account and data deletion request.

EMAIL A DELETION REQUEST →

This button opens your email app with a draft. Your request is sent only when you send the email. If no email app opens, copy the address above and send it using any email service. No app installation is required to submit a request.

  • Tell us whether you used Google, Apple, or an anonymous session.
  • Provide the account email or Apple private relay email if available. You may include an account identifier you already have.
  • Say that you want both the Limina account and its associated data deleted.

We verify ownership before deletion and reply to confirm completion. After verification, we aim to complete requests within 30 days; if more time is needed, we will explain why and provide an update. Never send your password, one-time sign-in code, or access token.

Delete directly in Limina

  1. Open Settings using the account you want to delete.
  2. Choose Delete account and data near the bottom of Settings.
  3. Confirm the deletion. A linked Google or Apple account requires identity confirmation.
  4. Keep an internet connection until the operation completes. If it fails, retry or use the email request above.

In-app deletion begins immediately after confirmation and successful identity verification. It deletes cloud data before removing the identity, then clears the account's local data on that device.

What is deleted

  • Your Limina Firebase Authentication identity and app profile.
  • Cloud bookmarks, collections, queue entries and order, reading history and progress, and reader preferences.
  • Local account records and downloads on the device that completes in-app deletion.

Limina does not retain a separate active copy of your account or library after completed deletion. Provider backups and security records may have a limited retention period described in the privacy policy; Firebase's authentication information can take up to 180 days to leave its live and backup systems.

Copies you manage separately

A web or email request cannot remotely wipe local copies on your devices. Clear Limina's local data on those devices and delete any JSON backups or copies you exported to files or another service. Deleting Limina's account does not delete your Google or Apple account, and does not remove the original fiction or media from source contributors.

Anonymous sessions and lost access

Anonymous accounts are not connected to an email address unless linked to a provider. If you still have the session, use in-app deletion. If you have lost access, email us with any account identifier or information you already have. Without a recoverable identifier and a way to verify ownership, it may not be possible to locate or delete the correct unlinked anonymous account. We will explain what can be verified; we will not ask you to create a new account to submit a request.

Uninstalling or signing out

Neither action is a request to delete your cloud account. Use one of the deletion methods on this page if you want the account and its associated data removed.

Discussion comments and replies

Account deletion removes the text, public author name, and author identifier from your discussion comments across language editions. Thread placeholders and other readers’ replies remain. Your reports and this device’s discussion drafts/cache are removed. A private posting-rate/security record may remain for abuse prevention, and copies cached elsewhere can remain until refreshed.
